Debt Acknowledgment · Notarised
A notarised record of who owes what, and when it is repaid
Drafting and notarising an acknowledgment of debt or a repayment undertaking between two parties. We coordinate the licensed partners; you stay in the loop from your phone.
What it is
A debt acknowledgment is a legally recognised, notarised record of a debt and how it will be repaid. A notarised acknowledgment is much stronger evidence if you ever need to enforce the debt. We draft it in the correct format, both parties approve, and we arrange notarisation before delivering it to both sides.
Who needs it
This is for anyone who has lent or borrowed money and wants a legally recognised, notarised record of the debt and how it will be repaid, for example:
- A personal loan between individuals
- A repayment plan for money owed
- A business debt between parties
- Any arrangement you want documented and enforceable
Documents you'll need
- Both parties’ Emirates ID
- The debt amount
- The repayment terms and dates

FAQ
Why notarise a debt acknowledgment?
A notarised acknowledgment is much stronger evidence if you ever need to enforce the debt, and can speed up recovery.
Do both parties need to sign?
Yes, typically both the debtor and creditor sign before the notary.
What if the debtor doesn't pay?
A notarised acknowledgment can support enforcement. For that step we'd connect you with a licensed lawyer, we don't give advice ourselves.
